We came, we saw, and then bid Pitti Uomo 97 a hasty adieu, in part because of the carnage left by a night of unfiltered, Caffè Gilli-fuelled conviviality at Palazzo Rake which would leave the Medicis blushing, meaning we had to make way for the restorers.
